My knowledge of London addresses is minimal .............

The SoG address is 14 Charterhouse Buildings, Goswell Road, London EC1M 7BA

I lectured there a few months ago, and wasn't aware that I was near Smithfield !!!

Charterhouse Square is where the market is so you were right near it ! But the smell has gone now that there is hardly any meat trading done !

I pass there on the way to work so will check it out. And its just reminded me that i know someone whos husband is a member !!

I don't remember tkd but if so I think it would be about Welsh castles. I should have tried his old addy first. Somewhere in my loft I should have his booklet about the Sims -when I find it I will check it out for James and Mary.

Have you tried the James Geddes son of Peter Geddes and Ann Young who was baptised in Fordyce on 27 Aug 1794?
