As far as I can ascertain, there is no such place in The Netherlands as Lembrethen. What or where did you get this name from?

The best site for Netherlands Genealogy is:
www.wiewaswie.nl/en/home
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Yeah I agree but I still have never heard of a place called Lembrethen. So this John/Jon (which probably is "Jan" could be any one of the many Rademarkers on that site. So where do you start and where do you draw the line :(

Mygirlbill.   Lembrethen is just one version taken from census's from 1851 to 1891. Other versions of the name are, Lembsetham, Limbery and Lembretch,  all depends on who transcribed the census.

I think that I may have found it. It's Limbricht. Limbricht is in the municipality of Sittard-Geleen which is in the province of Limburg. Happy hunting!!
