Henricus Rademaker married Anna Mechtilda Sterremans in Stevensweert on 16 Oct 1791.  She came from Einighausen , he came from Linne

It looks like there was another daughter born in 1795

I'll have a look for her baptism record.

Linne is a town in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Maasgouw, and lies about 6 km southwest of Roermond. Linne was a separate municipality until 1991, when it was merged with Maasbracht

Can't find the record for the baptism but a bit more info -
Gertrudis Elisabeth, born 12/1/1794, died 10/9/1794
Gertrudis Elisabeth bn 26/8/1795
Maria Elisabeth bn 2/8/1797
Joannes Petrus bn 24/9/1799.

Henri died on 31 August 1811.  According to this he was born in Waldfeucht, just over the border in Germany. He was 43 when he died.

Scorpio, do you have the death certificate of this "Jon/John" ect. Rademaker as this should give you the name of his parents. Otherwise we could very well be wasting our time chasing up this Henricus with a wife Anna/Michetildis.

On his first post Scorpio mentions that the father may have been Henri.

The site I gave a link to gives details of all the BMD's for Rademakers in Limbricht between 1696 and 1942, and very helpfully can be translated into English.

Quite a few to look at

Yes I did read that he thought that the father's name MAY have been Henri but that MAY not be necessarily correct. Same goes for the many various version as to where Jon/John etc. may have hailed from. I'm pretty sure that I am on the right track but it still needs to be confirmed and a death certificate MAY just be able to do that. Guess work just isn't good enough. I'm pretty hopeful that we'll all get it sorted out.  :D

Hey, your a star Linda and you mygirlbill, thank you. I'm sure your both on the right track, I wish there was an english translation of those pages. I don't have the death cert of "John" only the bmd record, but uk death certs don't give fathers name. The marriage cert. may have fathers name, I'll have to try and get it. The problem there is that I now live in the Philippines and the postal service here is far from secure and I would proberly never receive it. If it did arrive, it takes about 4 weeks for mail to get here from the uk.

Hi! Do you have a relative living somewhere other than the Philippines who could take delivery of the letter for you? It really would pay for you to get a wedding certificate seeing as U.K. death certificates do not mention name of parents. We may after all be on a wild goose chase. Most of these Dutch sites given by Linda are also in English.
