Yes that's my John. He is my 4x great grandfather. I have a picture of him, if you are interested I will send you a copy it is too large to post here.

I would really appreciate you sending me what you have managed to untangle. I was struggling to prove which of the Johns and Thomases was which!

Thank you in advance  :)

Think I've managed to send a pm!
We are an immensely confusing family to unravel, it would help if we'd been a bit more inventive with first names  ::)

Northampton Record Office say they have Orton Parish Records ORTON  Baps 1836-1961 Marr 1839-1961 Burials. 1846-1961, Obviously they are before your family dates.

Do you have for the whole yard? I didn't get chance to go hunting so I'd be interested in seeing that list :)

Thank you very much Sandy. I have used the Orton/Rothwell registers to find my branch of the Daintys but haven't yet visited to find their graves. It seems from what Mercia118 has found that they are buried in the chancel and that has helped to unpick the relationships. I will have to visit and see the full inscriptions.  My branch moved to Loddington around 1800-1810.

I would be interested to see the list of the churchyard burials as other branches were also from there.

Thanks again

Hi to you both.

I have about 20 graves as that was all there was. I don't know what condition the Church was in when it was recently visited.

I will have to list the people and death year in a mo. Although it is Father's day the rain means it is impossible  to go anywhere at the mo.

Give me awhile.
