Denbighshire Archives Reference No.
« on: Saturday 27 February 16 00:25 GMT (UK) »
I've come across a reference in the Archives to a 1605 document DD/WY/807 regarding a Hugh Salesbury and Bodyngharad.   Does anyone know if it is possible to learn from the reference number what type of document this might be?

Any help appreciated.
Heather

You could try getting in touch with the archivist. In my experience across various archives you usually get a useful reply.

Thank you to JGDavies and ScouseBoy for the advice.     I have tried searching the reference of the Denbighshire site but it just leads to more tantalizing clues to another document ref and someone called Piers Ap Robert Ap Harry Ap David Ap Howell!  Curiouser and curiouser.  I will try emailing the archivist.  I'm in Canada so not much hope of dropping by!!
