@Trevbet. I know that this establishment was a Private Nursing Home for unmarried mothers in 1940 as my mother was born there. I have established that it became to be known as Whitehall Nursing Home ran by E KINNEAR Matron, although trying to find any records as to my mothers birth have drawn a blank.

Here's an advertisement from the Belfast Telegraph of 1st December 1936. Numerous birth announcements in the late 1930's by married couples of babies born at Whitehall.
