Just a thought--could it be Gallipoli or another part of The Dardanelles?,   Suvla Bay?

Thanks for that interesting idea but I was thinking more off the South Coast/Sussex don't ask my why though.

They look like newly planted trees which would male them fully grown now and looking quite different.
