I thought it must be something like Rebekah - it just looks like Rikvriah to me, but I don't think that's a name! If anyone knows otherwise, I'd be very happy to find out.

The first letter could be a K as it is different to the R for Robert - so maybe Kiturah? This name comes up in google as one used in the past

It's from the 1851 census return from Sandford Orcas in Somerset. Robert (36) was born in Bradford Abbas, and his wife (32) born in Beaminster. I've been unsuccessful finding their marriage in any parish records so far.

I thought I had found him in the 1841 Sandford Orcas return, married to a Catharine, but that is just so different from 'Rikviah' or Rebekah (and the children's names don't tally up, even taking age changes into account) that I'm doubting if it's the same person.

It looks like Kiturah to me

The children's baptisms give parents as Robert & Kitty

It could indeed begin with K   .... maybe the marriage is pre-Civil Regn then ?
