Ancestry is not the be-all and end-all!
I have to agree with KG 
The birth registration record that appears on Ancestry is from the Freebmd database. Often Ancestry transcripts show the wrong counties against records. On freebmd you can 'click' the registration district and it will take you to the places covered by it.

Sometimes if you are really lucky someone may have added a postem giving details from the certificate
