I wonder if anyone in the Irlam  area has any information on  the Hulme family . They emigrated to New Brunswick Canada in 1911.family links  are Lennox ,Mackenzie andWatts.   The Hulme family had  farmed  at Moor  Nook in Sale  Moor Cheshire......Jimbach

thanks Carol  ...james Hulme and family did indeed work and live at Moor Nook farm in Sale Moor  Cheshire. They did emigrate to  Canada from Liverpool in  March 1911  I  posted  on the Lancs. board deliberately as I know they  had   a family  connection with  Irlam.   jimbach.

james Hulme b  circa1862 sale moor    market gardener...... his wife  Margaret Hulme b 1857 in IRLAM    They had 4 daughters      jimbach

I don't know anything about the family, but there is a Hulme Rd that runs from Moor Nook, named after the family/farm.

A bit of trivia, but you probably already know that.
