Sarah baptised the same day

I think Jomot is absolutely right about Daniel as son of

Thank you for all your help so far everybody.  I am pretty sure that Daniel Kirk married Elizabeth COOPER.  I forgot to mention that their daughter Sarah who married Thomas Hallam called their first born John COOPER Hallam.  This confused me for a long time as I thought Sarah`s maiden name was  COOPER, but it was her mother`s!  There is indeed another Thomas Hallam who married a Sarah Cooper around the same time, but the other dates just didn`t fit.  Loking for Hallams is a horrific and exacting job.  I don`t think that any of the RC baptisms are correct.  All Saints is CoE.   I too think that the younger Daniel is a son who took up the same profession.  Unfortunately it doesn`t bring me any nearer to finding out more about Daniel senior.  My tree has come to an abrupt halt there.

I´m going to get all the information down on paper asap.  I find it much easier to sort out than on a pc monitor.  A roll of old wallpaper is perfect for the job.

You must have read my mind, was thinking it would be easier mapping it out now but still can't add to Daniel.

Was just checking the marriage when you posted but the witnesses are no help!

Perhaps Diddy will come up with something from the library.  Not all the information is on line.  Signing off now. ;)  Thanks.
