1939 Frederick R Scott, Salisbury Wiltshire  born 18 Aug 1891 Engineer.
Marriage 1920 Lilian Smith, Wilton
1939 Lilian is with their son Stanley S at Steeple Langford.
The only reasonable birth for Frederick R Scott appears to be Nottingham 1891 3rd Qtr.
What am trying to discover is why he should be Head of family 1939 at this particular address,
is a mystery because no one still alive has ever heard of him. 
Mystery needs sorting.
Have sorted out his wifes family Lilian quite easily,death Salisbury 1983.

What particular address?  Presumably not the same one as Lilian if only she and her son are at Steeple Langford?

Who else is at whichever address it is?

The only reasonable birth for Frederick R Scott appears to be Nottingham 1891 3rd Qtr.

The marriage cert should confirm his fathers name.  For the birth you found - father was Frederick a railway engine driver according to the 1901 entry

 So sorry,I knew this would be difficult.

Basically in 1939 Frederick R Scott born 18 Aug 1891 is listed as head of the household.Wilton Salisbury [I am trying to avoid posting the address details]   He is an engineer.
There are elderly persons in this 1939 household family,[not Scott],still around who when I asked who this man could be ,have no knowledge of him.The owner of this property and wife are completely different persons,and listed.
I realize the need for his marriage certificate,as that is a guess on my part,being Wilton 1920 and could be wrong. Will order shortly,thanks Brionne.

Carole ,yes thanks had traced this Scott family 1901/1911,but will need to get birth certificate to confirm that I have the correct person by his date of birth.
Just need to know what this guy Frederick R Scott is doing living at this particular property in 1939,he certainly was not the owner. Brionne.

May be this Frederick Scott was working/living at the 1939 address,its odd though that no one seems to remember him,its recent history.
