Seaton Terrace - Seaton Delaval

Hello

This is probably a bit of a strange question.  Is Seaton Terrace and address in Seaton Delaval or a place of its own. 
My ancestors moved from Lowick to Seaton Delaval between 1871-1873.  Information shows a daughter being born at Seaton Terrace 1874 and another being born at Seaton Delaval 1877.  Further information shows my ancestor died in 1884 at Seaton Delaval Terrace.

I am sure that you will find some local help with this, but I will offer my thoughts anyway.

I would assume that Seaton Terrace is either a road or a row of houses which were given the name Seaton Terrace. In this case Seaton Terrace (of houses) would be on a road so you may get an address such as "Seaton Terrace, Seaton Road." Seaton Delaval Terrace may be another version of Seaton Terrace.

Seaton Delaval is the name of the town/village.

I will see if I can find anything definite to help you.

Added: I just re read this and it sounds a bit confusing - sorry.

It appears to be on the A192 half way between Seaton Delaval and Holywell.

Seaton Terrace is also a hamlet in this township (Holywell) situated on the Shields and Morpeth Turnpike Road one mile north of Holywell.It consists of a row of neat and substantial stone cottages two stories high, and possesses two inns, besides two or three grocers' shops. Seaton Terrace is between Seaton Delaval and Holywell. It is a long terrace of houses which were at one time miners houses. There is a working mens club at the end of the terrace called Seaton Terrace Club. It was a colliery village and the Club would have been paid for by miners contributions.
