DUNMORE burial in Uppingham 1861
« on: Wednesday 06 April 16 15:29 BST (UK) »
Can anyone give me any information for the burial of a MARY DUNMORE, Uppingham, Mar qty 1861.
Her age at death would help me greatly in identifying if this could be a family member.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ime hoping it is Mary Dunmore, bapt, Aug 19. 1833, daughter of Joseph and Phoebe Dunmore.
Joseph left his family and moved to Aston, Birmingham. Phoebe died in 1846. I have not located any marriage for Mary and just wondered if the death recorded in 1861 was her.

I have the burial indexes for Leicestershire & Rutland and there is nothing for Mary Dunmore 1861, although a Phoebe is listed 30 Oct 1846 aged 36, so unless there is an error in the transcription this cant be Mary's mother  :-\

Sorry - having an 'cant count' moment  ;D

Thanks for that. I was just interested to see if I could uncover the identity of this MARY DUNMORE, death Mar qtr 1861. The death is listed as district of Uppingham on the GRO, FindMyPast, ANCESTRY and a host of others. As you know it would be a waste of £9.25 for a certificate if its not the person you want. Unfortunately for me the death is 1861 and a persons age was not recorded by the GRO, so I am relying on anything that was recorded in the parish records.
Many thanks.

Thankyou very much for that information. Has proven most valuable, and at least I now know its not the Mary Dunmore I was expecting.
Kind Regards and Best Wishes, Andrew.
