If he's the Robert I mentioned at reply #9 whose birth family settled in Australia, there's the following:

1877 (09 Jan): Marriage of Robert Wilkinson to Margaret Ann Matthews, daughter of Edward Hood - Crystal Brook, South Australia.

1878 (24 Mar): Birth of Rachael Sophia Margaret to Robert Henry and Margaret Ann Wilkinson, Clare, South Australia.

I think you really need the birth certificate for Frances Emma.  You will then have Charlottes maiden name and maybe a middle initial for Robert

ADDED Does her marriage certificate give any information on her father

Oh i remember seeing it on freebmd then i was lookng on tees valley and thought YES i've found him but it doesn't tell you the age on there thanks Rosie!

Hi all i got a reply from tees valley and they have kindly told me that Frances E Wilkinson was the daughter of a Charlotte Wilkinson but no father is listed

I am wondering if this is Frances & Charlotte in 1891 and the enumerator got their names the wrong way round

That's a good find Rosie i've had that happen with another part of the family where they had the mother and daughters names the wrong way round!

I could do it for the other children as far as i'm aware you can have 3 Enquires a week!
