Older ladies can be quite difficult to date as they didn't always conform to the latest styles, however this looks 1870's but can't say which part but I suspect it's early.

The lady may, or may not, be my 3x gt grandmother Mary (Apple) Maples 1809-1885.  This is why I would like the photo dated as nearly as possible.

This photo is in my 2x gt aunt's photo album which is held by my cousin.  We both want to know who this lady is and hope that by dating the photo we can eliminate others.
