Is there anyway of finding whether this a manifest with Sophia's return on it if she did go.

I also wonder if she booked to go but changed her mind which is why there is a line through her name.

I could’nt find a Sophia Passmore  on the Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960 lists on Anc*y

I don't have a sub to F M P

Do you think this entry may contain any further info.?

British & Irish Roots Collection *

Snippet says *

ground-breaking collection gives family historians the chance to trace their ancestors' journeys across the
Atlantic like never before by bringing together a wide range of record sets

First time such an expansive database has been curated in such a way.
Exclusively with F M P, can trace the origins of their trans Atlantic ancestors all in one place.

More information about her on the Ellis Island site than FindMyPast. On Ellis Island at least it has details of who she is going to and where she came from.
If I didn't see that I would know whether the FindMyPast was her her not.
Looking at the tree Sophia married in 1925,so I think that she changed her mind and didn't go to the US.
Added:
I wonder if F G Jones will be on the census which would be the 1930 at the address given?

Hi if you have FindMyPast why not check out the Caroline Paul b 1890, as Sophia Maud was on same page of manifest?
Personally think she changed her mind, booking a voyage must have been made some time beforehand?!

The ship left on the 26th Sept 1923 and FindMyPast has the handwritten copy and Caroline is there with her husband with husband and son but Sophia isn't there.
So Sophia changed her mind. That doesn't solve the mystery of F G Jones.

Is Oct when they arrived? It is the same ship that Sophia had her named crossed out. The Homeric.

The Homeric arrived 4th October 1923 departed 1st October 1923, where did the September date come from?
OK looking at the original it is 26th September 1923, now wondering how/why it was transcribed as 1st October?
