Tyldesley Trade Directories 1950/1951

I am trying to track down the biological father of a relative, a man named Andrew Priest who was reportedly from Glasgow. Apparently he was working in Tyldesley, Lancashire as a painter and decorator in 1950/1951. I was wondering if he was listed in any trade directories for those years.
Knighton in Huntingdonshire and Northamptonshire
Tweedie in Lanarkshire and Co. Down
Rodgers in Durham and Co. Monaghan
McMillan in Lanarkshire and Argyllshire
