Jean PEEBLES, her birth & death

I am searching for the death/burial of Jean PEEBLES, which hopefully will lead me to her baptism entry, which in turn will give me her parents.

This is what I know.

Jean PEEBLES married John McTIER on the 21st January 1820 at Ballantrae, Aye, Scotland

They had a daughter, Agnes McTIER, born 9th Jan 1820, baptised 7th Feb 1820 at Ballantrae, Aye, Scotland.

I have not located any more children.

Her husband, John McTIER was born 27th Feb 1795 in Ballantrae, Aye, son of Alexander McTIER & Jean MAITLAND. I do not know the fate of John McTIER.

Jean appeared with her daughter Agnes, during the 1841 Census of Ballantrae ;
Jean PEEBLES, female, age 50, Pauper, born in Ayrshire

Jean appeared during the 1851 Census of Ballantrae ;
Jean PEEBLES, head, widow, female, age 55, Washerwoman, born in Ballantrae, Ayrshire. (The Ballantrae, Ayrshire was a ditto from the above 5 entries)

Hopefully her death/burial will reveal an age that will help solve my problem.

Jane Peebles(other surname McTier) death 1869 Ballantrae Ayr , born c1798 looks to be a good match.

The death cert. should give you the names of her parents , if known by the informant.

Hi,
 Jane McTier maiden surname Peebles died  31st May 1869 in Ballantrae she was the widow of John McTier a farm servant and aged 71 .
Daughter Agnes made her mark when the death was registered her address was also Ballantrae   
Jane's parents were James Peebles a stone dyker and deceased her mother was Jane McCreadie and was also deceased.

From this you will hopefully be able to get back another generation.

ADDED   Looks like Jane was born as Jean on 30 March and christened on 3 April 1798 in Ballantrae
one of 13 children as far as I can see on family search but I will leave you to get that information yourself .

Agnes appears to be their only daughter christened Ballantrae  7 Feb 1820.

I certainly looked under the wrong stones to find her ancestry. Luckily for me, I am challenging all my previous research results, plus I have the help of fellow researchers.

Now, to erase the previous entries in my database and head down this new path.
