Any stories of him being in the services or anything that might account for him being out of the country?

Have you got an occupation for him from the 1939 register (if he can be found there)
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

Does your husband remember where he met him?  ie at his home, what part of the country etc  :)

There's a probate record 1952 Chingford Essex to Harry Skinner engineer.

Hello

On the 1891 Edmond was an Ag Lab.

I cant find him on 1901 ,1911 or the 1939 register.I have wondered if any of the 1939 register for
Sussex is lost/missing,there are several people I cant find.

I have looked to see if he went in the Army or went to visit a sister in Canada,no luck there.

Husband went with Mum & Dad to visit him in Northiam. Edmond was OHs Grans brother
