Can anyone help with any of the following?
I have a William Hardy marrying Mary Rowlandson on 30th December 1772, Auckland St Andrew, Durham. Marriage says William Hardy of Brancepeth and Mary Rowlandson of this parish.
Mary Rowlandson (sometimes spelt as Rowlinson, Rawlinson, Rawlingson etc) was baptised on 21st July 1750 at Auckland St Andrew, daughter of Edward Rowlandson and wife Ruth Bell.
William and Mary had the following children:
Edward Hardy baptised 3rd February 1773 Auckland St Andrew
?William Hardy baptised 9th May 1775 Brancepeth
?John Hardy baptised 29th August 1777 Brancepeth
Stephen Hardy baptised 24th October 1779 Auckland St Andrew
?George Hardy baptised 29th December 1781 Dalton le Dale
Mary Hardy baptised 15th August 1784 Bishopwearmouth
Ruth Hardy baptised 21st June 1787 Bishopwearmouth
Rowlandson Hardy baptised 14th March 1790 Bishopwearmouth
Robert Hardy baptised 21st November 1794 Bishopwearmouth
There is a death registered for a Mary Hardy, 1818, Wearmouth, Sunderland, and also one for a William Hardy born circa 1747, buried 1832 of Silver Street, Sunderland?
Any help with Williams parents much appreciated. Have checked Familysearch, Find my Past and Ancestry with little success. There are some trees which have William being born in 1748 at Hamsterley son of a William Hardy and Margaret Hodgson but I belive this William died in 1763?
