Unfortunately, just to make it difficult, Ernest had 3 daughters!

The youngest Bernice Ellen Curtice was born in 1907. She married a Henry George CLARKE on 18th August 1931 in Plymouth. At the moment I can't find any children.

Olive the middle daughter married a man with quite a distinctive name! She died in 1986 and her husband in 1993 BUT they had a son and I've found an address as recent as 2014. I'll PM you with it.

Glad to have been of assistance - it did help that Olive's husband wasn't called Smith and that they stayed in Plymouth.

I hope her son is still alive and knows about his relation.

I think though we've ruled out any connection with Wales for Bertram, apart from the fact his wife may have come from there.
