Markinch Burial
SWAN, DAVID: at Milton of Balgonie; 3 March 1801

04/09/1825 SWAN MARGARET GROWNDSTON / DAVID SWAN  F MARKINCH /FIFE 447/00 0070 0044

GROUNDESTON Margaret (74): spouse of deceased David Swan at Milton 4 Sep 1825; in grave of daughter, Kathren Swan, interred 30 Nov 1811 (No 42, 1811)

SWAN, KATHRINE (21): daughter of deceased David Swan at Milton of Balgonie; 30 Nov 1811; in grave of father

Marriage of David SWAN to Margaret not yet found.  I also have no baptism found for David.

I'm puzzled by the two index entries for 3 Mar 1801.  I'm now down to zero credits on SP so will have to wait several months before I can purchase more.

Also, it seems there is no way of telling if David, the spouse of Margaret was buried in 1897 or 1801.

Also, I can't work out the connection to John. I have Margaret's siblings as Hugh and Jean.

GRUNDESON, JOHN (88): at Milton; 1 June 1837; in Swan ground twelve feet east from Barnslee stone

Being buried in Swan ground probably means he is Margaret's brother ? or cousin?

Thanks,

Fred
