What about Brierley but could have been spelt different back then

It's dry at the moment but I think rain is due later, think rain is due tomorrow too
23 degrees and sunny, wish it would be like that here this weekend

It would have been spelt phonetically, how would you say Brierley with a Yorkshire accent Heidi ?

Try spelling it out as you would say it, if you know what I mean...

That's not far away from Notton and Royston either. Well done Heidi.

I only know the accent from Geoff Boycott, and Monty Python.  ;D

I'm trying to imagine an Aussie speaking with a Yorkshire accent  ;D ;D

Regarding the baptism of Sarah you found ..father William.

John and Sarah had a son William bapt. 24 Jun 1669

...I used to play quite a bit of cricket in my teenage years...I'm surprised I can remember that far back ;D

Or even Barnsley, but think I'm drifting too far now.

Erm, Brierley would sound like Brearley?

south Yorkshire accents are a lot more broad Yorkshire, especially the Barnsley area

I'm trying to imagine an Aussie with a Yorkshire accent too  ;D

I really don't know, I'm not much good at this.  Looking at it again, it looks more like Broamley.   ???
