Bucknell, Ellis Edward born in Aston 1886

I am looking for the baptism records of Ellis Edward Bucknell. He was born in Aston, Warwickshire in 1886 and met and married Anne Summerton in Andover during the First World War. They had a residence in Camberwell, Surrey, during the war before moving to Yorkshire. Anne's family were from Great Ouseburn/Acomb area in Yorkshire. Ellis Bucknell died in Leeds in 1952.

I understand that his father's name was Edward Bucknell and I am looking for his marriage, baptism and burial records as well. Any help would be appreciated.

The only Buckn*l birth registered in the Aston reg district 1885 - 1887 is this one

What I have already are his military medal record (1914-1920), his marriage registration (not the marriage certificate) Andover 1917, the names, dates of birth and location of each of his 13 children.
The rest is anecdotal. I cannot locate the Aston information but I know that I transcribed it from the internet page at the time. Could be a wild goose chase? His actual marriage certificate may be the best source for parent information. I received a letter from a cousin saying that he was gassed in 1917 and nursed by Anne Summerton, whom he subsequently married before returning to France.

As it is a relatively unusual name I thought his details would be easier to find, but it appears to be a struggle.

I have just found the item giving his birthplace as Aston, Warickshire. It was a posting on the Ancestry message board by a 'bkarly'. I know it is my wife's grandfather he was referring to because of common marriage information and two family photos which we also have. Therefore I have a reasonable level of confidence we are researching the same person but cannot contact him as I am not an Ancestry subscriber.

The online trees on Ancestry including one by the person you mention do not appear to have Ellis's marriage details and have linked him to Edward Bucknell bn Willenhall, Staffordshire c1886. 

I can see reference to this Edward on the last census so he cannot be your Ellis as by this time Ellis is in the military.  Edwards parents according to 1891 & 1901 census are James & Sarah.

His date of birth is given as 10th April 1885 so he should be in June qtr 1885 but nearest I can see is Edward Ellis Brayne Dec  1884 Solihull .
And as you say he was in the military in 1911.

When you say 'his dte is given as' where are you seeing this date?

The Brayne definitely does not fit.

The earliest record which I have of him is his military record card. Could there be another military record showing enlistment, parents, place of birth?
