Alexander Pollock - Elizabeth Spiers

I am hoping to find what happened to Alexander Pollock, born 1790-1800, Monaghan Ireland, who married Elizabeth Spiers & their families.
I know for certain that they had Esther 'Essey" Pollock, born 1842, married Robert Smith,son of James Smith,  13 August, 1857, Kilmore, Ireland.
Esther & Robert went to Scotland where she died 10 February 1900, Blantyre, Scotland, Robert died 1 December 1907, Blantyre Scotland.
Did Alexander & Elizabeth emigrate to the USA. ? There are plenty of records with the name of Alexander Pollock, Monaghan, Ireland but nothing of Elizabeth Spiers which would confirm this was the right couple.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What religion were they? have your checked to see what church records might be available for that period?

Have you searched in Scottish records (census, deaths, etc.) to see if Esther's parents also moved to Scotland?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I have searched both Scottish & Irish records, now USA records,  for some time. They were Irish Church.

a Margaret Pollock married a William Gibson(from Pullis) in 1863 at Kilmore she was the daughter of Alexander Pollock (from Nart)
