A while ago, I meant to unsubscribe from email alerts on one particular thread, but accidentally clicked on the option to stop all emails from Rootschat forever, and now I can't figure out how to change it back!
I've tried reading the 'How to Use Rootschat' forum but none of the suggestions I've seen have worked.
I know I can check the title bar at the top of this page for
Hi Josephine! [Unread Posts] [New Replies] but I'd rather get email alerts.
In
Rootschat.com >> Profile of Josephine >> Email Notifications, I have:
- checked the box for "Receive forum newsletters, announcements and important notifications by email"
- checked the box for "Turn email notification on when you post or reply to a topic"
- "For topics and boards I've requested email notifications on, notify me" = "Instantly - but only for the first unread reply"
- "For topics and boards I've requested email notification on, notify me of" = "Replies and moderation"
- and saved/updated the changes (on more than one occasion)
At the bottom of that page, it says:
"Current Board Email Notifications
You aren't receiving email notifications on any boards right now.
To request email notifications from a specific board, click the 'notify' button in the index of that board."
But when I look at a thread that I've posted on (for example, this one:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=749932.0), I don't see a "notify" button at the top. It only says:
REPLY;
UNNOTIFY;
MARK UNREAD and
PRINT.
Help! What should I do?
