Just to let everyone know that I have today added "Celebrities of the Yorkshire Wolds" by F Ross to my list of books. It isn't searchable but it is a great read.
Using documents from the British Museum, Bodleian Library and local Libraries the Author as put together a comprehensive list of notable people and some only notable for their old age at death such as Mary Beilby. The author of the book is at pains to point out that although he as tried to be accurate in all he has written he makes no guarantees but does say he hopes there are no major mistakes that would cause a future researcher a major problem
