Yes, Thanks, I have for a long time had all this information.  I started my research into JLH about 12 years ago.  He is my gr-gr-grandfather.  I have a beautiful portrait of him in my family history room at home.  I've had many trips around Australia visiting all the different family lines and seeing many heirlooms.  I gave a talk at Macarthur when they put a plaque with his name on the Mechanics Institute.  Although I have not myself ever put family ancestors on the web I have shared my family heritage throughout the Australian lines and many of them have done this.  The direct Ancestors were all Engravers, Booksellers and Printers also guilders.  JLH and his brother Samuel were both Engineers.  Many of the old stone bridges, roads, buildings in Port Fairy and Macarthur areas of Victoria are all thanks for JLH.  A very energetic and strong minded individual.  Unfortunately for me his youngest son, my gr-grandfather didn't have so many of these qualities.  Regards Debra

Hi, I've just discovered this site and I'm trying to find my way around. My connection to JLH, is apparently he fathered my grandfather in 1898, this would have made him over 70 years of age. Someone here mentioned they couldn't find birth certificates for JLH first 2 children, I wonder if one of these children's name was JLH.
Looking forward to hearing from people.
