Hi, bit of a long shot that you’re still looking after all this time.  However I have a Jacob Perkins born circa 1819.  Married a Rebecca Bates in Shepshed and had three children.  I have Jacob before his marriage in Whitwick close to Shepshed in 1841.  Then Rebecca and one child in Shepshed in 1851.  No Jacob.  However two more children were baptised in 1853 & 1856.

Whitwick/Thringstone  are more of less the same place.  You walk down a road and you move from one village to the next.   I live fairly locally.

It gives the abode is Whitwick but the image is Thringstone

There are trees with a death certificate for Rebecca.

It was on 10th July 1880 at the Leicestershire and Rutland Asylum, age 63.

It describes her as a wife or widow of Perkins, no first name, a schoolmaster??
