Up to yourself, I can't see a Peter McNickle / Elizabeth O'Kane marriage though.  Personally I would wait to see what other folk post, there are lots of other sources that may produce more leads.

If the Peter in the 1911 census was correct, ie. the same as this one in 1901:

... then his parents were Bernard McNickle and Ann/Nancy Brolly from Farkland who got married on 19 May 1866.

In the 1901 Census the name is spelt "McNicholl" opposed to "McNickle".

Would this be a differnet person?

Unlikely, given the Farkland location, the pattern of siblings' forenames and relative ages, I would be surprised if not the same folk.

Mary McNickle there was a name change somewhere in the family from McNicholl to McNickle and she was my aunt

McNicholl/McNickle are just different versions of the same name- not uncommon to find spelling variations in Irish families/records.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
