Column Heading for Death Entries Clarifaction (Old German)
« on: Wednesday 13 July 16 13:24 BST (UK) »
Hello

Please see the attached example. Can someone please translate the column headings for me. Particularly interested in the last but one column, does this refer to place of birth rather than death?

Kind regards

Roy

Ort und Tag des Todes / Place and Day of Death      [Date in German is Datum]

Tag der Beerdigung / Day of Burial

Name / Name

Stand/Eltern des Verstorbenen / Status/Parents of the Deceased

Alter / Age

Todesursache / Cause of Death

Ort der Beerdigung / Place of Burial

Bemerkungen / Notes

Are your eyes not becoming accustomed to the handwriting? Justin

Thank you very much Justin. I can make out tag, name and alter but unfortunately not much else, but then languages have never been my forte!
