I have already given Gill the name, address and telephone number of the publishers of the original book.

If there is a copy available, I am sure they will know! ;D

Using the ISBN should help any searches (International Standard Book Number).

If it was printed privately for the author then it may be that the publisher will not have held any copies but they might agree to pass on inquiries to the author.

I wondered that also, Carol. I can only find six in U.K. and Ireland  :-\

There are six legal deposit libraries in the United Kingdom and Ireland:
* The British Library, London.
* National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh.
* Bodleian Library, Oxford.
* Cambridge University Library.
* Trinity College, Dublin.
* National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Hi Rosijayne

If you have specific queries then the Pillbox Study Group website and forum is a great place to post.  Equally I may be able to help you.

It is hard to buy copies but they are in many libraries - that is where I read it, from inter-library loan.

Many thanks for your reply - I really wanted the book as a present for my brother who is very interested in the pillboxes.  I will keep searching for this book, but bear in mind your offer of information.  Thank you very much, I appreciate that.
