William Leek
« on: Monday 25 July 16 08:18 BST (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can help me, please, in searching for references to William Leek my 3x great grandfather.  He was born about 1790.

He appears on the 1841 census at Long Compton, Warwickshire, living with his married daughter Rachel Gardner and her husband Thomas.  Born in county (Warwicks).  Age shown as 50, which would be rounded down and could be 50-54, meaning birth between 1787 and 1791.

He was married to Patience Constable at Long Compton in 1810; I have found references to 5 children.  Patience died at Long Compton 1829.

I can’t find him on the 1851 census; nor a death entry for him between 1841 and 1851.

Any guidance would be much appreciated, thanks.
