Marriage Look Up for 1913 if possible please
« on: Tuesday 26 July 16 22:53 BST (UK) »
Just wondering if there is anyone who has access to information or records and could kindly carry out a marriage look up please.  ;D

Walter Green married Annie Russell in Wisbech, April 1913.

I am not in a position to purchase a marriage certificate at present so I would really appreciate any help and assistance with this request, ideally I am looking any information regarding Walter and his parents.

Many thanks in anticipation.

To lookup a marriage in the parish records - you have to know which church it took place in

These are all the areas covered by the Wisbech RD

A family tree on ancestry says it was 21 April 1913 in Outwell Norfolk. No copy of the certificate provided as proof however.
Outwell Norfolk was in the Wisbeach registration district.

Thank you very much CaroleW and amondg for your replies.  ;D

I did suspect it might be Outwell as they resided in that area. I have tried the Norfolk Parish Registers but Outwell is not listed there and Cambridgeshire Registers don`t appear to be available  :(

Many thanks Steve

Many many thanks Selina for your reply, absolutely fantastic  ;D ;D ;D

Spent sometime at the local library this afternoon and found Annie living with her Dad in 1911 and 1901  :) but I am struggling to find Walter, I know I can`t request a 1911 Census look up but I am struggling to find him in 1901, 1891 and 1881  :(

Anyone know where I might be going wrong  ;)

Try finding them on the 1939 register should you find them you will get a place and date of birth
He was of Outwell when married, it doesn't mean he was born there or even in the county

Sorry, the 1939 does not give a place of birth.
