I have sent off for a marriage certificate for Harriet and Henry Wilkes/Wilks. Walsall does sound likely.

Hello

YES

Harriet married Henry Wilkes/Wilks (not clear) fifth August 1893 at Walsall Register Office.  She a widow he a widower both lived in the Pleck. At that time a heavy industry part of Walsall.full of iron works, steel works, forges and rolling mills. She was 50 he 54? a ironworks stocktaker.

One oddity father quoted as William Jennings Blacksmith I suspect this is a mistake.

Now to find her in the census. nearly there.

Best wishes

Julia
