Mwrog Street, Ruthin
« on: Monday 08 August 16 21:11 BST (UK) »
 Hello,
Does anyone know if there was a butchers shop in Mwrog Street, Ruthin, between 1896 and 1900? I'm looking for a butcher named Thomas Parry, and his family, I believe they were living in the area around that time.
                   Many Thanks.

This newspaper snippet of 1897 suggests there was.

I live nearby,      if you give me a few days  I may be able to go  to the Denbighshire records and archives  office.   To check in a directory.

An alternate report of the same incident

I can't find him in the 1895 Slaters Directory for North and Mid Wales,so your date of 1896 might be very accurate also!
