Deciphering World War One Records of Hospital Admission
« on: Tuesday 09 August 16 00:59 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I've really struggled to figure out what the following two documents are saying, regarding by GG Grandfather's admission to hospital/sick bay during World War One.

I can see he had scabies, but the family story goes he was mustard gassed. I doubt it will say anything regarding this, but if anyone is able to help decipher what is written, I'd be so thankful!

Thank you

Follicular tonsillitis in Feb 20, Scabies and tonsillitis in May 20.

The admissions are all after the war was over, presumably while he was stationed in Germany as part of the occupying force.  The reasons for admission do not say anything about mustard gas but there could perhaps have been an earlier incident for which the record has disappeared.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
