What does this brown box mean?
« on: Saturday 13 August 16 10:51 BST (UK) »
Hi I am currently 'private messaging' someone who is being very helpful. Today though for the first time I have now had a brown box appear with the words 'remove selected' - I don't want to click on it in case I lose a lot of valuable information. Can someone explain what this means?

Each message has a list of options, you can delete one message or tick the box on a number of messages to delete them all, i.e. you select each message you want to delete. If none have been selected then "remove selected" wont have any effect.

Hi

Nothing should hppen unless you put a small tick/check mark in the small boxes about it at the end of each of your personal messages next to the sender's/recipient's name.

If you tick/check a box and then click delete, that message should be deleted from you message box.

Thank you both. I now understand - just hadn't seen it before and did not want to erase valuable information.
