Well done - so Louisa's John Richard Brown did die in 1865 and the one in the 1939 is just a coincidence.

Thank you Forester and Groom, this is indeed the same lad and mother, I can now put this to bed as complete

What a pity it is in unconsecrated ground

The address is the same.

Emily's death was sad, as mentioned before, apparently a child/children were with her when she was burned.

The relation of mine who was working with me over the years with this family tree died just a few weeks ago, she would have been really interested, I feel as if I have no one to share it with me now but still rewarding to have found out where this lad is

Many thanks

Louisa Maud

Very sad when that happens. I found a relative through Ancestry and we shared the same great grandfather. We became good friends though we never met and worked together on the tree. Unfortunately she died about 4 years ago, but I still think, "I must tell Carole that" when I find new information. Sometimes I think that it is her nudging me in the right direction when I find something I previously couldn't find. Maybe your relative has done the same!

I always like to share what I have found but sadly my family aren't really interested, no doubt some think I am downright potty till I find a scandal of some sorts.

The person mentioned previously came over from Australia for some years and we frequented the archives every week over a 6 week period, she was such fun, she could no longer do it after 85 , she died almost 96, a wonderful person.

One lovely new found family member I found sadly died on my birthday, I was so pleased to have found him, my grandmother was one of 12 and it seems one half hardly new about the other half, spanned 24 years, he knew so much about the younger ones and through him I am now in contact with his son

This hobby has it rewards

Take care

Louisa Maud
