So, Ann (Nancy/Nanny) was indeed a minor when she married John Clark 1788 i.e. just 18.

Nancy/Nanny are pet forms of Ann.

The Countess of Huntingdon was a Methodist and set up the chapel called the Countess of Huntingdon Connexion in Brighton.   So, it was a non-conformist chapel - you can find out more about the building on 'google' and photos.
