Children were alive then. Robert Roberts the eldest boy was my grandfather

So it would seem to me if we could locate Robert G Roberts c 1886 (Assume middle name Griffith/Griffiths) we could track back to locate in earlier returns,  so firstly where is he 1901/1911, who/when /where did he marry and along with brother John 1889 and sister Ann C c 1884 who are not with Ellen at 21, Cornhill in 1901, but John looks to reappear in 1911 with Ellen aged 22

Hi again ok read through the earlier thread, and I believe he was in the Merchant Navy from at least 1902 aged 16 b Portmadoc as a Cook & Ordinary Seaman on Vessel Glanogwen but looks to be further records for just Robert Roberts who also looks to be possibly him?

Ann in 1911 was in Salford where she was staying at 10 Lieveseley Street with a family. She was sent there after family found she was pregnant. I saw someone in Criccieth as a maid in 1901 which made sense. In 1901 ive got Robert Griffith Roberts living at 165 Selborne Street, Toxteth, Liverpool which makes sense due to him working with Blue Funnel. I cant find him in 1911 but he might be out of the country? No idea where John Roberts is in 1901 but as you stated he was back with his mum in 1911.

Hi again on your other thread you had sent away for the marriage in 1920 for Robert G Roberts was there any further information you gleaned from it, Glyn Jones Roberts when/where was he born, also worth checking out the Merchant Records on FindMyPast for Robert GRIFF Roberts b 1886 Portmadoc, Beaumaris seems to be a link to records!?

No all I had from the marriage certificate was the name of his father John Roberts deceased. Same with John Roberts marriage stating that his father was John Roberts!! The tradition of using same names in families is a nightmare when trying to trace ancestry
