Thanks to the naming info by Forfarian, I found a couple of leads for possible other children of William and Lydia

Name:   Anne Clerk
Gender:   Female
Birth Date:   21 Jan 1780
Birth Place:   Petty,Inverness,Scotland
Father:   William Clerk
Mother:   Lydia Clerk

Birth date would fit with what we know of son Donald born 1777

Name:   Thomas Clark
Gender:   Male
Birth Date:   20 Nov 1775
Baptism Date:   21 Nov 1775
Baptism Place:   Petty,Inverness,Scotland
Father:   William Clark
Mother:   Lydia

One that seems close but  not exactly Petty.   It seems that Dalcross was in the same area.  However, Clark/Clarke/Clerk seems a common name.  However, Lydia was not so common

Name:   Christian Clark
Gender:   Female
Birth Date:   8 Jan 1777
Baptism Date:   9 Jan 1777
Baptism Place:   Croy and Dalcross,Inverness,Scotland
Father:   William Clark
Mother:   Lydia Rose
Dunbar, Clark,Bain, Lipp, Campbell, Pope, Barnard, Handcock, McAdams,Creath

One that seems close but  not exactly Petty.   It seems that Dalcross was in the same area.
Dalcross and Petty are neighbouring parishes. Petty Kirk is only a mile or two from Dalcross Castle.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

If Above Lidie Clark/Clerk is mother, she would be about 43 for Alexander.  Would that be considered too old?
