Schonberg Family Tree

Hi. Is there anyone who can help. My mother was Ruth Dear born Schonberg @1916. She had a sister Selma Gittl Doerzbacer and a brother Ziggi Siegfried Har-Shefi Schonberg. I have their parents names Schulem Feiwel Schonberg and mother Schneidel Mattel Schonberg born Buch. I cannot find any info on them and don't know where to look. Any advice gratefully received.

I imagine, given the names, that they were probably Jewish? And the "Ziggi" is the shortened version of Siegfried?

Do you know when any of the family was born? Or where? Even if you can only narrow it to a country?

I know that they were living and working in Stuttgart when my mother was born. Before that I don't know. Thanks for your help.

Was Ruth born 5 Dec 1916, married Alan Arthur Dear (1917-1971), resided in Nigeria for some time c1950-1960, died in Hampshire in 1983?

If so, do you know where and when their marriage took place?

Hi both. Yes my mother was married to Alan Arthur Dear and yes she died in 1983. Her sister Selma lived in Vienna. There are members of the Dear family in the UK but to my knowledge no other Schonbergs. I have traced Ziggi's family who are now living mainly in Berlin. Thanks again.
