John Slator/Slater Cumberland

Hoping someone can help me find the baptism for John Slator. John married Mary McClean on the  10 May 1787 at Wetheral Cumberland. I know that Mary was baptised 1767 at Holy Trinity Church Whitehaven. I think that John Slater was baptised at Wetheral but I can't seem to find a suitable date for the event. There are a lot of Slaters family members located at Wetheral and of course the couple married there. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't see the marriage in Wetheral,but there is one in Aikton.Went back to familysearch.org and film number matches Aikton 1694-1961.
I did find a marriage in Whitehaven in 1785 to Mary Minigen which seems more likely.
Where were their children born?

Hi thanks for your reply. Sorry I thought Aikton was in the same location as Wetheral. All of John slater's and Mary Mc Cleans children were baptised at Wetheral starting in 1788 with daughter Elizabeth.
