Thanks to all for the extra info. I did find my note for the 1913 ER roll - it was as I posted.

Cando, the burial info has thrown a cat among the pigeons - the birth date doesn't match the one I have for Enid Coulson, ie 8 March 1912. :-(

As you should know details given upon death & burial are often incorrect!

I think it was from the supp entries - I wasn't very good about recording info back then.

True, lots of incorrect birth and death dates on headstones.

It's not incorrect.  That's obviously the date she celebrated her birthday and surely her family would know.  They more than likely had the certificate from the reg below.  I haven't read all the thread.

If you search for the birth reg using the exact date on the MI as the birth date ie 25 Aug 1912.

And her first reg as you mentioned on 8 Mar 1912.  Obviously used the second one when she became the legal child of Ernest and Gertrude.
