Thank you for that additional information. It seems most of the clues point to a mid to late 1920's photo probably in Derbyshire. I'm going to go back through my Mum's 'unknown' photos and see if I can match some faces.

For some reason I thought this photo was taken in Canada. Must have been the picket fence that threw me off  ;D
