1851 Breconshire Census - Esmond
« on: Saturday 23 July 05 23:53 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Would someone be kind enough to look up a Thomas Esmond in the 1851 Breconshire census?

He was born c1828 in Pembrokeshire but lived in Breconshire with his wife Elizabeth and possibly a son Thomas born 1850.

Thanks

They seem to be on the 1861 census at Llangunider though - with 6 children, including Thomas (11) born ?Rasan, Breconshire.

Do you have this?  If not I can post tomorrow

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Hi Arranroots,

Thanks for looking...Yes, I have spotted them on 1861 with Thomas being born in Breconshire, so I was hoping they would be there in 1851. Maybe they are mistranscribed or perhaps they moved temporarily. I know other parts of the family were in Monmouthsire as well as Pembrokeshire at the time.
