Thanks Annie and Ruskie...It was a special moment ..there are so many photos out there and not enough of them find their way back home...but this is just one of many that I have had the pleasure of returning...albeit digitally in some cases.
I'm pleased that it hadn't been turned into a Nursing Home or multiple occupancy

  ...Stranger things have happened Annie...I wonder if his Grandchildren will read my letter and the postcard in years to come and think of the search to find the property as "primitive"
