Have you tried Family Search Records ?
There are a number of baptisms on there for children of Thomas Moss born Grapenhall
It's unlikely that the mother's name would be shown on earlier records.

Thomas and Alice are buried in Grappenhall Thomas aged 67 in 1803.  Alice aged 88 in 1826
A son Samuel  died in 1784
There is a marriage licence on Findmypast which gives Alice's age and father.  Is Thomas not the Thomas Moss born in Grappenhall in 1737?
Samuel died in Edgley so perhaps you should be looking in Stockport for his siblings.  If you are not already subscribing to Fandmypast I suggest you do as it is by far the best for Cheshire records.  Additionally you can purchase grave records from the Family history Society of Cheshire
